Preparing for a Christmas at Home

This is just to let you know that I have put up my first 'official' Christmas post at my new blog 'Christmas at Eden'. Visit via the link on my sidebar or type in the URL into your address bar www.christmasateden.blogspot.com It is all about preparing for Christmas with lots of ideas and inspiration on buying gifts, getting ready for Christmas crafting and decorating. Come over and visit me there!

With Love and Joy,
Ann

P.S I have found that the 'Recent Posts' widget on the sidebar does not work properly for users of Internet Explorer. I have now added in a picture link above the list of posts at the Christmas site. If you are using IE try clicking on the picture link rather than the Recent Posts links. Please let me know if you are still experiencing problems - thanks!

Teresa - the link on the sidebar appears to work when I click on it. I do hope the sidebar link is working for other people - let me know if it isn't and I will try and work out how to link my custom domain to my Christmas blog, as I have discovered if I type a link to my other blog into the main body of a post it it does not work. My main blog (still on blogger) is on a custom domain - it is just a .com but the Christmas blog is blogspot.com. When I type in www.christmasateden.blogspot.com into the address bar it takes me there. Try this! Love to have you visit!

Hi Ann! Thank you for your nice comment on my blog! I do love to hear from you sooooo far away! It is strange to me that you are in spring now and we are in fall!
I would miss Christmas time so much if I weren't in a colder climate. My sister in law lives in Florida and she comes to Indiana most of the time for Christmas. I think their kids enjoy seeing such a difference in the seasons. We really don't have a "white Christmas" that often though. Ususally if we have any snow it is just a sprinkling on the ground. We get LOTS of snow in January, February and March, though. The northern part of Indiana is near Chicago and they get what they call "lake effect snow" since the Great Lakes are up there. They get more snow than we do in central Indiana.
I just told my hubby last night that I want to visit England so much. I am a fan of Jane Austen and we just watched a 5 tape series of Pride and Prejudice AND before that, Emma. My favorite, however, has to be Sense and Sensibility!!
Regarding your Christmas at Eden part on the side bar, it says "Internet Explorer..." I think it will say error but that part is cut off and I can't see it. Hopefully it can be fixed and we can see it!
I just read last night that there was a terrible fire in Australia last year or early this year. I can't imagine why I didn't know that except that I rarely watch tv. I hope you weren't anywhere near that area. Yes, I know, Australia is a very very big place! I thought of you when I read about it last night.
I am busy today baking 50 dozen cookies for people at my husband's work. It is childcare worker appreciation week next week. I hope he appreciates his wife...I work with children AND I bake lots of cookies!! Hehehe...(he does!)
I'm also planning to help my youngest sew an apron and bake banana bread with my middle daughter...IF they clean their rooms!
Have a lovely day! Beth
